"Pope Davis on Lake Murray Blvd has a very comfortable lounge area with aTV, free coffee and a very well stocked snack machine to want in while your vehicle is being serviced! The associates are very courteous and go the extra mile to try and make your experience as enjoyable as possible!"

Lee Williams

"I cannot say enough great things about this location. Easy to schedule an appointment, great communication from Thomas, and more than fair pricing. I always feel like my friends were working on my car instead of some corporate shop trying to squeeze me for every penny I’ve got. I recently had an oil change, transmission fluid change, and tire rotation. I saved several hundreds of dollars, AND I received better service going to Pope Davis than my now former a car dealership shop on Killian Rd. Any time I have an issue with my car my first phone call will be to this Pope Davis location."

Brendan Paschal

"Riley was very helpful yesterday when needing a battery replaced quickly. I appreciate the customer service and timely manner in which the work was done. We always have a great experience and it’s great to have a reliable place close by. Thank you."

"I had a great experience with this company. They were polite, and very knowledgeable about why I was there. They fixed the problem and did it for far less than the company down the street. I have nothing but great 👍🏽 things to say about Pope-Davis on Hardscrabble Rd in Columbia SC."

Patricia Lake

"Always great service. They change my oil for less than i can do it myself. Tires are reasonable and they always recommend in your price range."

James Harsey

"Fast service without an appt on a Saturday. Best price I could find. And a good bit less than I was expecting. Great attitude from everyone there. Would definitely recommend."

Will Markham

"I let Pope Davis on Assembly handle all my vehicle needs. Their customer service is outstanding. I worked in the customer service field for nearly 38 years so I can recognize when someone was going beyond the required role. I had no hope they could repair something that another namebrand company could not but low and behold the young Tech walked out with the part says ma’am this is what you need installed it and I’ve had no trouble since. Will Only buy my tires from them. Did you all know your tire pressure is located on your vehicle? I did not And the Tech could have gone about his business, but he told me where to find it. Love, love, Pope Davis."

Shirley Johnson

"1st vehicle needed since being in Blythewood (3 yrs). Worked with me as they weren't going to get to my vehicle, but needed brake replacement. Will definitely be back for all future vehicle needs!"

"I want to thank Pope-Davis Tire and Service Center for the exceptional service provided today (May 7, 2026). Kevin's kindness and patience truly set your establishment apart from your competition! As a customer for several years, I continue to trust Pope-Davis Tire and Service Center with servicing my Lexus IS 300, and they consistently provide professional, friendly, prompt, and fair/reasonable prices. Over the years Pope-Davis Tire and Service Center has provided an array of car services to me, such as tire replacements, air filters, car inspections, oil changes, etc. Again, “Thank You," Kevin, Service Technician, and all staff, once again, for your exceptional service."

Anne Richardson

"Wonder place of business to go to. The service writer, Matt, is very knowledgeable and understanding of circumstances. Will recommend and return for future services."

Adam Noel

"I had a great experience with the crew and specifically Dustin at this Pope Davis! Very helpful and diligent in finding out what was wrong with my car, and understanding of the fact that I had some difficult circumstances in picking it up. They went truly above and beyond and the customer service and communication is top tier."

Caitlin Corbett

"Been bringing cars here for service for 15 years. I moved from the Blythewood area but still drive nearly an hour to have them service my cars."

Rachel Newcomb

"I can always count on Pope Davis for an honest assessment. Each and EVERY time I’ve been told my vehicle needed something at the dealership, I’ve always come to Pope Davis for the truth. 9.5/10 I didn’t need what I was told I needed. Although management and staff has changed over the past 17 years I’ve been a customer, they still seem to have the trustworthiness and integrity."

TAMARAH HILL

"Chuck and his team on W. Main St. in Lexington, SC are fast, professional and less expensive than other car repair shops in my area. I was impressed with how well they diagnosed my repair issues and communicated my options. They also told me that the costly repairs other shops had quoted me were not even needed. I will definitely be back here in the future for any other repairs to my truck."

Eric Kennedy

"I got a flat tire after work on a Friday afternoon and they were so kind and immediately took my car back. I was only there for about 20 mins and they did a wonderful job repairing my tire. I truly appreciated their excellent customer service and would definitely recommend!"

Jessica Gilbert

"Recently relocated to the area, one of my first priorities was to find a reputable place to have my 2007 FJ Cruiser serviced. I asked someone in my community (who also has an FJ) where they take it for service, and they recommended Pope Davis on Hardscrabble. Great first impression (shoutout to Kevin at the front desk who greeted me and ensured all my expectations were met). I had an 8:00 am appointment for an oil change, tire rotations, and a wheel alignment. All were completed as promised and to my satisfaction. I believe the service I received was priced fairly, and I will definitely return for my next service milestone. Ultimately, I believe I found the right place for my automotive needs."
